About us
M-Cot’s primary products are training and coaching interventions in IT and business skills and the development of learning materials. From our expansive resource base of specialist facilitators and locally-developed material, we provide solutions from a few hours of one-on-one coaching to national roll-out programmes. Other services include psychometric testing and staff recruitment.
M-Cot is accredited with the Isett Seta, decision No: 2007/00/829; we also make use of facilitators who are accredited in their own right.
Our Service
For nineteen years we have focused on customer-centric service delivery, partnering with our clients to develop the most cost-effective solutions. By utilizing self-employed facilitators, developers and consultants, we are able to maintain a deep and wide database of subject matter experts, rather than generalists. Value-added services include coaching and support, after completion of the training programmes, to ensure maximum application of acquired skills.
Mission Statement
To support initiatives which serve to increase the skills levels of adult South Africans, through the provision of effective training solutions, utilizing SMME facilitators and developers who are qualified and experienced specialists.
Code of Ethics
All M-Cot staff are committed to guarding our reputation for scrupulous business ethics and fairness. Wherever M-Cot provides a service, the interests of all stakeholders are protected through signed Service Agreements. The owners personally ensure that honesty and legitimacy govern every M-Cot transaction.
National skills development strategy
M-Cot has received full accreditation as a training provider from the Isett Seta (decision No: 2007/00/829). As all of our resources are SMME’s in terms of the act, using M-Cot will be supporting one of the primary objectives of the NSDS.
We endeavour to keep all of our resources updated with relevant developments in this vitally important field. Many of our business skills trainers have received accreditation for courses that they themselves have developed. On the IT side, most are registered with the Isett Seta as Independent Training Providers and / or assessors and moderators.
For over 4 years, M-Cot has supported numerous learnerships with facilitation, assessments, moderation and, on a wide scale, development of training material.
Social Responsibility
“Walking the talk” of our mission statement, we have supported various educational projects, of which the IT Academy at CIDA City Campus warrants specific mention. M-Cot was involved from the onset, providing lecturers as well as participating in curriculum and operations management.
In 2008, our selected project is to assist our neighbours, the Department of Correctional Services, Leeukop, in setting up an IT skills training school, as part of their rehabilitation programme for young offenders.
M-Cot's Approach to Training Delivery
